Princess Émilïe Ngombom, daughter of a royal French West African family, has been the topic of conversation in Hollywood recently.  For the past two years she has been doing extensive research globally to help her craft her latest masterpiece.

The screenwriter has crafted a tale of determination and persistence that everyone will enjoy.  Her screenplay tells the true tale of Bessie Virginia Blount, an African-American female inventor during World War Two.  A physical therapist by trade, Bessie invented assistive technologies that would be used by by soldiers returning from the war.  While these assistive technologies were well-received in Belgium, Canada and France, they were not recognized in the United States.

Inspiration for the screenplay came from a number of articles on the subject of science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM), as well as one article in particular written by journalist Denise M. Watson of the Virginian-Pilot.  Ngombom feels that movies and stories that promote these types of topics can really help and have a positive impact on communities in the developing and developed parts of the world.
